Principal's Game Day

We are thrilled to invite your child to our Incoming 6th Grade (Current 5th graders only) Game Day at I.S. 75! As your child prepares to begin this exciting new chapter, we want to give them the chance to kick off their middle school journey with confidence, connection, and fun.
Location: I.S. 75 - 455 Huguenot Ave, Staten Island, NY 10312 Time: 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

This event is specially designed to help incoming 6th graders ease into their new school environment before the first day in September 2025. Through a series of team-building games, sports, enrichment activities, and recreational fun, students will have the opportunity to meet new classmates, work together, and build early friendships that can last all year long.
We know that starting middle school can be overwhelming—especially when walking into a new building full of unfamiliar faces. This event gives your child a head start by creating a comfortable, welcoming space where they can make connections, build confidence, and get excited for what’s ahead at I.S. 75.
Along with Mr. Zapata, "Because We Can Sports" will be leading the day’s programming with high-energy, inclusive activities that are all about fun, teamwork, and school spirit. Pizza will be served for lunch and students will be given a chance to take a guided tour of the building with Mr. Zapata himself!

There is a fee of $20 which is payable when you fill out the form below. Space is limited to the first 200 future 6th graders who sign up.
