Over the course of three days (November 20-November 22) our social studies teachers will be bringing their eighth grade students to Ellis Island as we finish up our immigration unit.
On November 20, Mrs. LaPorta, Mr. Scarpa and Mr. Griffo, will be taking classes 803, 805, 806, 810, 811, 812, 815, 818, and 819.
On November 21, Mr. Ferraro will be taking classes 801, 802, 809, 814, and 816.
On November 22, Mr. Palmieri, Ms. Comello, Ms. Palumbo and Mr. Gale will be taking classes 804, 807, 808, 813, and 817.
Please note that participation in class trips is contingent upon behavior and overall academic standing. Factors that influence a child’s overall standing include lateness, class performance, behavior, homework, effort, attitude, and grades. A conduct grade of N, for any reason, may be grounds for exclusion in such events.
